Yes. AvocatProTech is built to stay responsive in environments where the connection isn't always stable: lightweight pages, no unnecessary downloads, and a clean recovery after a brief drop. Your data is saved server-side as soon as you submit it, and stays accessible the moment the connection returns — you never lose your work.
Can another firm see my matters?
No. Isolation is enforced at the database level itself: every query is automatically restricted to your firm, including searches, totals, and Lexi's answers. This isn't a display filter a coding mistake could bypass — it's a constraint verified automatically with every change to the software.
Can I get my data back if I decide to stop?
Yes. Your documents remain your documents and can be downloaded at any time. A full backup of your database is also produced automatically every night, in a standard, directly reusable format.
Am I locked into a contract term?
No. There is no fixed-term commitment. You can change plans at any time from your settings — the change takes effect immediately, with no need to contact anyone.
What happens if I run into a problem or have a question?
You write to the AvocatProTech team directly from the app (Support menu): a question, a bug or a complaint. Every request has its own conversation thread: you see where it stands, and you are notified in the app and by email as soon as the team replies. No external form to hunt for, no number to call back.
Can Lexi make things up?
Lexi is constrained to answer from your own files, and always shows the documents it relied on so you can check them. When no source can answer a question, it says so explicitly rather than filling the gap. Every action it proposes (creating a task, a deadline...) must also be explicitly approved by a human before it runs. It assists — it never decides alone.
Can I import my existing matters?
Your documents can be bulk-uploaded by drag-and-drop, matter by matter. An automatic import assistant from another software isn't available yet, though: migrating a large existing history is currently done with our help. Write to us before you start if that's your situation.
Is my country covered?
AvocatProTech is open in 2 countries across Africa, listed above. When you sign up, you choose your country: your firm's billing currency, time zone, and dialing code follow automatically. We open country by country, as the matching legal database is built — if yours isn't listed yet, write to us.
Does LexiGPT really know my country's law?
LexiGPT only answers from texts actually present in the platform's legal database: OHADA Uniform Acts and national law, with every answer linking back to the exact article. It never fills in gaps with unsourced general knowledge: if the database doesn't have an answer for the jurisdiction you selected, it tells you clearly. Coverage grows text by text, and you always know what an answer is based on.
